Children's Activities

Kids Exploration Station

Will be located in the main hall for family-friendly fun. No extra charge to enter the Kids Exploration Station. There will be a variety of activities to do and things to explore including:

• Musical Zoo to explore instruments
• STEM Cell Building and Fun Construction Zone
• Decatur Youth Chess League
• The Nutty Scientist of Rocket City
• Fun with Art

Reality Fair

The Reality Fair will have a variety of interactive booths for middle schoolers and high schoolers to explore.

Kids Workshop

The Kids Workshop will be located in a separate room for children ages 5 to 12. This will be at no cost to parents, but we ask that you pre register and sign a waiver prior to dropping off your child.

While parents are having fun and learning, check your children into the Kids Workshop where they can have fun while learning. Workshops will be held by local artists, scientists, STEM leaders with North Alabama Homebuilders Academy & creative movement. Plus, your children will meet a special children's author.

The Kids Workshop room is limited to 40 children per hour, including children of volunteers, so please be sure to register ahead of time.

Because we will not have access to restrooms or concessions in the Kids Workshop room, it is important for us to be able to contact parents at the event when their children are hungry, thirsty or if they need to go to the restroom.

Please make sure your phone is turned on with the ringer on and you will be texted if needed.
